Turtle Museum
The Key West Turtle Museum is a fascinating journey into the archaeological evidence of ancient turtles in the lands of the Keys. Guests have the opportunity to learn about the first explorer of the Keys, Ponce de Leon, and enjoy local lore about the necessary presence of turtles. In addition, you can learn about the conservation efforts to save the endangered sea turtles.

The Yankee Freedom and Dry Tortugas Interpretive Center
The Dry Tortugas Interpretive Center provides visitors a glimpse of the Dry Tortugas National Park. Admission is free. A model of historic Fort Jefferson and Garden Key is the centerpiece of the museum and shows the immense scale and daily activities of the fort itself during post Civil War days. Opened from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. every day of the week, it is located in the Thompson Fish House in the Historic Seaport. Don't forget to check out the attached Sails to Rails museum!
Sails to Rails Museum
As the island’s newest attraction, the Sails to Rails Museum at Flagler Station chronicles Key West’s epic story story to the present day. Learn of opportunistic pirates, shipwrecks and how it all lead to Key West’s first industry. Check out all the hands-on, interactive exhibits and even hold a salvaged bar of silver in your hands! There are worlds to be discovered here that will surely add a whole new perspective to your travels in the Conch Republic!

Located on Margaret Street near Local Color, Turtle Kraals, and the Yankee Freedom Interpretative Center, are thousands of tarpon that swim along the docks and underneath the boats! It’s a great place for kids and adults alike to walk through the docks and admire the schooners, in addition to watching the fish dart about in the crystal blue water. And it is conveniently located near mouthwatering restaurants and chic shops.

Sunset Watersports has been serving guests longer than anyone else. So they offer many incredible packages and activities based on their ample experience. Their “DO IT ALL” all-day watersports adventure package offers 11 watersport activities. Their power cat “Party Cat!” will take you out for a night of dancing.
